getting there
I
The Plantage Amsterdam is located in the eastern city of Amsterdam and is easily accessible from Central Station.
tram
Take tram 9 from Central Station, which goes by theWaterloo Square, through the Plantage Middenlaan to the Tropenmuseum. From Dam Square tram 14 runs the same route.
metro
All subway stop on the Waterloo and from there you can browse through theplantation, or transfer or tram 9 or 14.
bus
City buses 22, 42 and 43 ride from Central Station along the Prins Hendrikkade to Oosterdok. Get out at the stop Kadijksplein. For the Tropenmuseum and Oosterpark take the stop Wijttenbachstraat from line 22.
boat
Visiting the Plantage from the water is a must. You can buy a day pass for the Canal Bus Museum or the Cruise Company Lovers. Both have a pick up point at the Central station. For more information: www.canal.nl and www.lovers.nl.
car
From the A10 exit S114 (Zeeburg, Artis, IJburg). If you go to the Artis Zoo, you can park at the Zoo Parking. Otherwise you can go to garage Markenhoven in Anne Frankstraat , City Hall garage / The Amsterdam Music Theatre at Waterloosquare 28, Waterloosquare car park or garage P1, P1 Center Amsterdam, on Prins Hendrikkade 20A.
bicycle
